A group of armed military men, who were part of the ‘Operation Vanguard,’ have visited the crime scene where the late Major Adam Mahama was murdered in Denkyira Obuasi in the Central Region.

Aside praying for the deceased soldier, the soldiers promised to carry out their mandate as expected of them to honour the late Major Mahama.
Maxwell Adam Mahama, an officer of the 5th Infantry Battalion, was lynched on Monday, May 29, 2017, by residents of Denkyira Obuasi on suspicion that he was an armed robber.

A total of 60 suspects arrested in connection with the murder has since made an appearance at the Accra Central District Court.
